Dell 27-Inch Curved 144Hz Gaming Monitor
The Dell 27 Curved Gaming Monitor is a great example of high-quality performance for a very reasonable price. Though much plainer than more pricey options from Alienware, the curved screen is framed with a narrow black band and slightly wider bottom bezel featuring the Dell logo.
Its 27-inch screen is a vertical alignment (VA) TFT panel with a 1500R curve, 1,920-by-1,080-pixel resolution, and 144Hz refresh rate. In our four-star review, PCMag noted an impressively low input lag of 1.7 milliseconds (ms) with a 60Hz signal—or 0.7ms with the native 144Hz rate. It also worked well with non-gaming content, displaying vibrant, natural colors accurately.
Samsung 49-Inch Odyssey G9 Gaming Monitor
‘ll need to clear some space on your desk for Samsung’s Odyssey G9, a gaming monitor with a curved 49-inch display that gets incredibly bright while delivering smooth motion and vivid color.

The monitor—currently $1,109.99 for Prime members(Opens in a new window)—is ideal for serious players of flight simulators and racers who prefer one giant widescreen panel to a bank of several screens. Aside from a small bezel on the bottom edge to make way for the Samsung logo, the front of the Odyssey G9 is distraction-free; its white back connects to a V-necked stand on a V-shaped base that allows for height adjustments. A ring of RGB lights, with 52 colors and five lighting effects, sit at the back of the monitor and are accessible through the onscreen display system.
