Where to pick up at-home tests issued by Connecticut health officials – News 12 Bronx

Connecticut municipalities are expected to distribute at home tests this week (Dec. 27 to Dec. 31). Below is a compilation of some of the places where you can get yours. In most towns, tests will be given on a first come first served basis.

Brookfield
Dec. 30 – 3 p.m.
Brookfield High School
Kits will be distributed on a first come, first served basis and proof of Brookfield residence is required.

Dec. 30 – 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. (or until supplies last)
Samuel Staples Elementary School – Rear parking lot
Enter at the main entrance on Morehouse Road and proceed to rear of building
Please wear a mask.
Proof of residency required
Two test kits per person.

Fairfield
Dec. 30, 12-5 p.m. (or until supplies last)
Roger Ludlowe Middle School, with all traffic entering at 440 Mill Plain Road, adjacent to Sturges Park.

  • Due to limited supply at this time, test kits are intended for residents that are symptomatic or that have a known exposure to someone who tested positive.
  • Proof of residency via your valid 2021 Fairfield beach or dump sticker, OR a driver’s license.
  • 2 kits (4 tests) will be distributed per household.
  • Residents must enter the site from Mill Plain Road. The Fairfield Police Department will be managing traffic, and I ask that you please follow the directional signs and cones to keep the flow of traffic moving quickly.

Monroe:
Dec. 30 – 2-6 p.m. (or while supplies last)
Jockey Hollow Middle School, 365 Fan Hill Road
This will be a drive-through pickup and identification showing Monroe residency is required. Please do not arrive early, as vehicles will not be allowed to line up in advance.

New Fairfield Middle School
Please enter the campus via the driveway closest to Peerless Equipment and exit from the new west side driveway.
Tests will be distributed on a first come first served basis.

Shelton
Dec. 30 – 1 p.m.
Shelton High School
Entrance to the high school will only be from North Constitution Blvd. The high school Meadow Street entrance will be closed to all vehicular traffic.
Each vehicle will receive two kits.
Identification required.

Stratford
Dec. 30
Bunnell High School Parking Lot
1 Bulldog Blvd.

Stratford Academy: Johnson House Parking Lot
719 Birdseye St.

Tests will be available only to Stratford residents and
distributed through drive-up.  Residents will be directed through each
drive-up by staff at each location.  Everyone in vehicles coming through
the drive-up should remain masked the entire time. Households will have additional opportunities to receive test kits
in the coming weeks through the school system and federally-qualified health centers.

Enter school via the East Pearl Road entrance and exit onto Torringford Street.
